With the popularity and acceptance of the Millennium design thriving, it has become desirable to provide the innovations and technology to a wider range of guitarist, including beginners and intermediate players as well as non classical guitarists. After careful review of all the possibilities to collaborate with a larger manufacturer, Thomas Humphrey decided that C.F. Martin and Company was best suited. Martin's historically outstanding reputation along with the relative closeness of the two workshops would provide the opportunity for a very close working relationship between the two guitar makers. A complete set of unassembled parts were provided from which to take exact measurements. To date, three models are in production and are being shipped. They are known as the C1-R, the CTSH and the CMSH (the signature model endorsed by Sting.)
